[How-to] Move your cockpit screens to the tablet with one tap (Auto pop-out) 中文

[How-to]Connecting your tablet for the first time

Your tablet doesn't need an app. It connects with a web browser.

  1. Connect the PC and the tablet to the same Wi-Fi (the PC can also use an Ethernet cable, as long as it's on the same router).
  2. Open Max Flight Deck and, on "Home", scan the QR code with the tablet's camera, or type the address shown below it (http://PC-IP:8765/) into the tablet's browser.
  3. On iPad, tap Safari's "Share → Add to Home Screen" so you can open it from an icon next time. The address is fixed and doesn't change.

If your PC has several networks (for example Wi-Fi and a VPN), Home marks the recommended one with "★Recommended". If it's the wrong one, press "Change network".

[Troubleshooting] The tablet can't open the address or keeps loading

  1. First open http://PC-IP:8765/healthz on the tablet. If you see "running", the network and firewall are fine.
  2. If it won't open: on the PC main window's Home, look at the "Windows Firewall" row. If it's red, press "Fix", and press "Yes" when Windows asks for permission.
  3. Your home Wi-Fi must be set to "Private" in Windows. When it's set to "Public", Windows blocks the tablet.
  4. Make sure the tablet and the PC are on the same Wi-Fi, not one on the main router and the other on a guest network.
