[Tips]Use "Borderless window" display mode in MSFS

In "Full screen" mode, MSFS minimizes itself as soon as you switch to another program, and Windows hides the pop-outs along with it.

Flight Deck shows the pop-outs again in the background so streaming continues, but borderless window mode is the most reliable.

Where to set it: MSFS → Settings → Display → Display mode → Borderless window.

When you tap a text field on the EFB, the tablet brings up its own keyboard.

  1. Tap the field; an input bar appears on the tablet.
  2. Type, then tap Done; the text is sent to the field in MSFS.

If the field is in the lower half of the screen, the stream slides up automatically and back down when you're done, so the keyboard never covers it.
