This policy explains what Max Flight Deck collects. The Max account privacy policy covers your account in general.

What stays on your PC

Everything you stream — cockpit screens, taps, typed text — goes only between your PC and your own devices on your local network. It is never sent to us.

What we receive

• Account: when you sign in with Google: your name, e-mail address and account ID, the date you accepted the terms, and whether you have Pro.
• Player key: a random ID for your PC (it contains no name or e-mail), made from Windows' own installation ID with a one-way hash (the ID itself never leaves the PC). It groups the flights from one PC and, if you later sign in, links them to your account.
• License check: about every two minutes while the program runs and you are signed in: a random device ID and the PC's name, so one account runs on one PC at a time.
• Updates: the program downloads the update list from boyu.tw; our web host logs the request (IP address, time) like any website.
• Help pages and tips: the free version shows pages from boyu.tw inside the program. They receive your IP address and program version like any web page; if advertising is switched on there, the ad provider may use cookies. The boyu.tw website, including these pages, uses Google Analytics to count visits (pages viewed, device type, approximate region).
• Flights: when you are signed in, each recorded flight is saved to your account after it ends (in Max Flight Deck Lite, which has no account, under that random ID for your PC once you have accepted the terms on the first start): its telemetry (position, altitude, speeds, attitude, aircraft settings), detected events, the scorecard and, if you made one, the ATC log as text. Audio recordings are never uploaded: they stay on your PC, and speech is turned into text on your PC only.
• Usage statistics: while the program runs, with your Max account (in Max Flight Deck Lite under the random ID for your PC, once you have accepted the terms): how long it was open and connected to MSFS, which instruments and screens your tablets showed and for how long, the kind and number of tablets, the aircraft, the program version and language, and how often features such as flight recording, pop-outs and the ATC log were used. Sent every 15 minutes and when the program closes. No screen images, audio, position or IP address are kept. We use it to decide which instruments and features to improve.
• Payments: handled by PayPal or, in Taiwan, by NewebPay (藍新金流); we receive the order number, e-mail address, product and amount — never your card details.

Why

To run your account and license, keep your flights and their reviews, deliver updates and help pages, and handle purchases and refunds. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising inside the program.

Where and how long

Account data and saved flights are stored with Google Firebase and Google Cloud (Asia region); websites and logs with our web host. Account data and flights are kept until you delete your account (Max Flight Deck Lite flights: write to max@boyu.tw with the player key shown in the program to have them deleted) at boyu.tw/account; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can download or delete your account data at boyu.tw/account, or write to max@boyu.tw for access, correction or deletion. EU/UK users may also complain to their data protection authority.
